FAILAKA ISLAND IN KUWAIT IS GETTING READY FOR AL JAZEERA CHALLENGE

Kuwait City:  Preparations are progressing on Failaka Island for the inaugural motocross event organized by the Kuwait International Motorsports and Motorcycle Club. The match is next Saturday. The event is called 'Island Challenge'. The event begins with competitors being ferried to the beaches of the historic island before being split into two categories. 


The competition has two categories namely Motocross and Adventure. The first three finishers in each category will be crowned champions. The qualifying round will be held at Failaka Island from 8 am to 1:30 pm. The match will start at 2:30 pm and will last until 4:30 pm. Sponsored by Red Bull, KTM, Talabat and Aqua Eva, the 'Al Jazeera Challenge' event consists of two laps of 40 km. A specially designed circuit is set up for it.
