BIOMETRIC SYSTEM TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT ALL PORTS IN EARLY 2023

Kuwait City: In order to prevent deportees, including those involved in forgery, from returning to the country, the Ministry of Interior will begin implementing iris, face, hand scanning, and electronic signature procedures at Kuwait International Airport and the borders early next year.


According to sources, the aforementioned procedures will go into effect once the supply, installation, and testing of devices is completed.

According to sources, the departments of Borders, Forensic Evidence, and Information Systems are currently coordinating their efforts to begin the operation of these advanced devices, which have high efficiency rates and are accredited in most airports and borders around the world.
