251 CAMPSITES RESERVED ON FIRST DAY

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Municipality has started receiving electronic requests for 2022–2023 spring camp season site reservations. According to sources, 251 requests were submitted on the first day reservations were made at the 34 designated sites in the Jahra and Ahmadi governorates. According to sources in the municipality, you can reserve a camping spot and pay the 150 dinars in fees—of which 100 dinars are a refundable insurance value—by clicking the link https://camp.baladia.gov.kw on the Kuwait Municipality's official website. 


The sources further stated that specific instructions have been issued regarding the rules to be followed at camping grounds, the most important of which relate to the 1,000-meter maximum area specified for each licence and the requirement to obtain a camp cleanliness certificate from the appropriate department in order for the licence holder to be reimbursed for the insurance value. Notably, the camping season began on November 15 and runs through March 15 of the following year. To maintain the campground's cleanliness, the municipality also started a public awareness campaign.
