CAMPAIGN TO KEEP BACHELORS OUT OF RESIDENTIAL AREAS CONTINUES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Authorities continue a campaign to evict bachelors living in residential areas. The bachelors committee continues its work by disconnecting electricity in residential areas where bachelors stay. Ahmad Al Shammari, Deputy Head of the Judicial Control Team of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy explained that over a hundred properties in Farwaniya Governorate have been cut off in the past month.


The power cut came after all measures were completed and the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality issued a warning. In coordination with the supply chain sector, the inspection team observed several negative phenomena posing safety, health and social threats to households. Al-Shammari said that the inspection was carried out when citizens had reported many of them.
