WORK MAKERS WILL TRAIN KUWAITI YOUTH FOR 100 JOB OPENINGS IN BANKING INDUSTRY

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Youth stated its desire to expand the business avenues of the "Work Makers" project, which is included in the development plan and the government's work programme within the human capital development axis, in collaboration with the Union of Banks, where it was agreed to provide 100 job opportunities to Kuwaiti youth in the banking sector. 


This was stated in a statement issued by the authority following a meeting between the authority's general manager, Dr. Mishaal Al-Rabee, and the Union of Banks, which discussed mechanisms of joint cooperation to support the banking sector with trained nationals and to increase its contribution to raising the degree of youth employment in the private sector in order to achieve the desired growth of the national economy and to solve the problem of unemployment and disguised unemployment. 

According to the authority, the meeting discussed the banking sector's functional needs as well as the skills and capabilities that must be made available to fill open positions. The authority stated its willingness to qualify and train young people with the specialisations required by the Union of Banks through the "Work Makers" project, which aims to qualify young graduates in development projects and provide them with job opportunities in various institutions after systematic training and refining of their capabilities through approved integrated programmes.
