MINISTRY OF HEALTH TAKES ACTION IN RESPONSE TO ASSAULT ON TWO DOCTORS

Kuwait City: A Kuwaiti and an expatriate doctor were attacked at Farwaniya Hospital, and the Ministry of Health has acted in accordance with Professional Practice Law number 70/2020 to take the appropriate action. The ministry denounced the assault and reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding medical staff members. It acknowledged the efforts made by medical professionals and reaffirmed its commitment to giving them a secure workplace so they can successfully complete their noble mission. 


In the meantime, the Kuwait Medical Association released a statement condemning the incident and revealing that it had gotten in touch with the two physicians and hired a lawyer to bring charges against the attacker. According to health sources, the assault took place on Thursday in the hospital's emergency department close to the recovery room. They also confirmed the prompt delivery of a thorough incident report to the relevant hospital staff members and Farwaniya Health District officials.
