Kuwait City: Sheikha Dr. Shamayel Al-Sabah, assistant undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry, praised the British Royal Air Force parade in Kuwait on Monday, which featured the Red Arrows flying over Arabian Gulf Street. She stated that the UK and the State of Kuwait have had a long-standing relationship and expressed enthusiasm for future cooperation. Belinda Lewis, the British ambassador to Kuwait, encouraged people to attend the event and watch the Red Arrows fleet in action. The team will meet with schoolchildren to pique their interest in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics, she added, along with Kuwait Airways.

She said that the special British-Kuwaiti relations and joint air force efforts are opportunities to be discussed during this diplomatic gathering between the two sides. Peter Bowman, the first secretary for defence and security at the British embassy, expressed his pride in the Red Arrows parade in Kuwait. Adding that he had already flown in Kuwaiti skies back in 2017, Squadron Leader Tom Bould said they were prepared to put on an exceptional parade and that he was very eager to see the city from above.
