MOI BEGINS TO RECEIVE FAMOLY VISAS FOR CHILDREN

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior's Departments of Immigration and Passports Affairs have begun accepting applications from residents for the issuance of family visas for their children under the age of five who are stranded abroad.


According to reliable sources, some departments have received applications from expatriates after ensuring that all of the requirements for obtaining visas for their children have been met. Since the beginning of this week, all immigration departments started receiving family visa applications from those who meet the requirements. 

Among the requirements for issuing family visas are a monthly salary of at least KD 500, valid residence permits in Kuwait for both the father and mother, and the child's age being less than five years.

The salary requirement was waived for the excluded professions based on the applicable Cabinet decision, or if the child is less than a year old, as long as both the father and mother have valid residence and the department director has approved. No applications from people whose nationalities have been suspended will be accepted.
