A company fines employees for disturbing colleagues on vacation

Kuwait City, Jan 12: Buffett Sheth, co-founder of "Dream11" company, said in an interview with a television station that a company in the Indian city of Mumbai decided to fine any of its employees 100,000 rupees (roughly $1,200) if they contact a coworker while they are on vacation.

According to a company statement, which was cited on the "Dragon Report" website, the vacation, which goes on without being interrupted by a call or email, enables employees to unwind, re-energize, and return to work with vigor and strength in order to perform their best.
