Kuwaiti flag-hoisting ceremony held at Bayan Palace

Kuwait City, Feb 2: A Kuwaiti flag-raising ceremony was held at Bayan Palace on Wednesday under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The event was held in the presence of his representative, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Saadoun, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and senior state officials were also present.

The motorcade of HH the Amir’s representative reached at the event and was received a 21-gun salute and warm welcome from the military, police and National Guard personnel. Then the representative of HH Amir raised the flag and the national anthem was played. The ceremony with the motto of "dignity and pride", kicked off the celebration of the 62nd National Day and 32nd Liberation Day.
