Price of 1 kg Kuwaiti truffle reached to 70 dinars

Kuwait City, Feb 4: Al-Rai monitored the atmosphere in the seasonal truffle market in the Al-Rai area, where the seller, Abu Abdullah Al-Musafer, confirmed that the truffle market is one of the popular markets that attract Gulf citizens and tourists of all ages, as it is considered the largest market on the Gulf level. Regarding the available species, the Iraqi, Syrian and Saudi truffles are the most in the market. 

The price of one kilogram of Kuwaiti truffle "Rajawi", which is distinguished in white color and delicious taste, reached to 70 dinars. He pointed out that prices are still high, explaining that the most expensive types of truffles in the market are Kuwaiti, Saudi, and then Iraqi, where the price per kilo reaches 25 dinars.
