Pope Francis discharged from hospital

Pope Francis has left the hospital and made his way back to the Vatican after receiving treatment for bronchitis. "I'm still alive," He told reporters before being driven away.

The pope, 86, was admitted to the Gemelli hospital in Rome three days ago after claiming to be having breathing problems. His medical team reported that he had responded favorably to an infusion of antibiotics. He confirmed that he would preside over the Palm Sunday mass in St. Peter’s Square.
