Kuwait Completes Demolition of 67 Unsafe Buildings in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh

Kuwait Municipality has completed the removal of 67 unsafe buildings in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh after the expiration of a two-week demolition notice period. The action was taken to protect public safety, as the structures were deemed dangerously dilapidated and collapsing. The demolition order was issued by Municipality Director General Engineer Manal Al-Asfour and published in the Official Gazette, requiring property owners to evacuate and demolish the hazardous buildings.

In parallel operations, municipality teams working in the southern regions removed 16 camps that violated camping regulations and cleared 9 neglected chalets in the Arifjan area. The Public Relations Department confirmed that monitoring efforts will continue across all camping sites to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and prevent illegal camping activities.
