Kuwait Activates Arrest Warrants for Debtors Linked to "Rased" Monitoring System

  • 25/11/2025

Kuwait has activated a comprehensive system for enforcing arrest warrants against individuals with outstanding financial obligations, directly linking them to the "Field Monitor" (Rased) application. This initiative follows the recent issuance of Decree Law No. 58 of 2025 amending the Bankruptcy Law, which authorizes security teams to implement detention procedures immediately.

The Ministry of Interior will enforce these warrants across public roads, security checkpoints, and all air, land, and sea ports to ensure swift apprehension of wanted individuals and prevent evasion of legal procedures. Debtors can settle their obligations directly at airports or through the "Sahl" application's electronic payment services to regularize their status. Authorities are urging those with outstanding financial obligations to proactively resolve their situations to avoid enforcement actions through the electronically integrated Rased monitoring system.
