Kuwait's Cybercrime Department has conducted an extensive online security campaign resulting in the detection of 48 legal violations across digital platforms. The operation uncovered content that offended public morals, incited debauchery, insulted individual dignity, promoted law-breaking, and contained insults toward neighboring countries.
The campaign also identified fake accounts being used to disseminate prohibited and illegal content. Ministry officials confirmed that legal measures have been taken against all violators, with cases referred to relevant authorities for further action. The Ministry emphasized that its electronic monitoring teams work continuously to protect societal values and ensure a safe digital environment, while urging platform users to adhere to laws and exercise responsibility in their online postings, noting that freedom of expression doesn't justify moral violations or personal insults.
