Kuwait donates $1 million to victims of devastating flood in Pakistan

The Kuwait Embassy in Pakistan announced today, Tuesday, its donation of $970,000 to the National Disaster Management Authority in Pakistan to support the victims of the devastating floods that swept the country recently.

Kuwait's Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Al-Mutairi, said that this donation is part of the direct Kuwaiti financial contributions, in addition to other financial contributions that were directed through the specialized agencies of the UN. He added that these donations come in parallel with the various relief activities in Kuwait to support the flood victims in Pakistan, which exceed two million dollars and were distributed to the affected areas.
