Singapore is set to execute its first woman in nearly two decades, human rights advocates say. The 45-year-old Singaporean national Saridewi Djamani was convicted of trafficking 30 grams of heroin in Singapore in 2018. She will become the second drug convict to be put to death in Singapore in the three days, following fellow Singaporean Mohamed Aziz Bin Hussain. This is the 15th since March 2022.
