Trump Signs Two-Day Funding Bill Averting Midnight Govt Shutdown

Washington : As per reports, US President Donald Trump has signed a two-day government funding bill into law as Congress tries to buy time to strike a spending and coronavirus relief deal. In a statement, the White House said that Trump signed into law. "The Further Additional Continuing Appropriations Act 2021, which provides fiscal year 2021 appropriations to Federal agencies through December 20, 2020 for continuing projects and activities of the Federal Government." The new move comes after the House of Representatives and Senate passed on Friday evening a two-day extension of federal government funding as lawmakers work on attempting to finalize an agreement on an USD 900 billion coronavirus relief bill
