NO SIDE EFFECTS IN CHILDREN WHO HAVE VACCINATED, MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Kuwait City: It is estimated that there has been a significant increase in the number of children between the ages of 12 and 15 who have received the covid vaccine. In a 2000 study of children, the vaccine was found to be safe and effective in this age group, according to a pediatrician at Jaber Al Ahmed Hospital. Khalid Khalandhar said.


Since the onset of the epidemic, children have been hospitalized with daily illnesses. However, the number of children dying from the disease was very low. Most of the cases were in children in the high risk category with other diseases. With this came the suggestion that this group should be vaccinated as soon as possible.

He added that since the start of the vaccination campaign in people between the ages of 12 and 15, no unexpected symptoms have been found in those who have been vaccinated so far.

At the same time, the covid Advisory Committee member said that 100,000 people receive appointments to get the Kovid vaccine every day. Khalid al-Sayed said. The vaccine is given to two percent of the population every day. He added that the country was moving towards social resilience.
