Muscat: The current night lockdown in Oman will end on Saturday, August 21st. The move is part of a series of proposals by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the ruler of Oman. With this, the current restrictions on the activities of night trading establishments and the movement of people will be removed.

Those entering Oman by land, air and sea must receive both doses of the vaccine, officials said. This condition applies to people over 18 years of age. In addition, the RT PCR should be checked as soon as it arrives in the country. If the result is positive, the test should be repeated on the eighth day after seven days of quarantine.

Vaccination has also been made mandatory for access to government offices, private institutions, commercial complexes, restaurants and shopping malls across the country. It will come into effect from September 1. Completion of corona vaccination is also mandatory for participation in cultural and sports events.
