AIR FARES TO UAE RISEN SHARPLY FOLLOWING THE LIFTING OF TRAVEL BAN

Dubai: 70% increase in air fares from India to UAE. The increase comes shortly after the travel ban was lifted following the Corona expansion. Tickets to Dubai from New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Kochi have gone up from Rs 40,000 to Rs 70,000.


It has increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 30,000 in the last one week. The minimum ticket price to the UAE is Rs 40,000. Economy class tickets on Air India Express cost Rs 39,811. Tickets are priced at Rs 40,845 on Air Arabia and Rs 41,868 on Indigo. The ticket price at Gofast is relatively high at Rs 42,320. SpiceJet fares at Rs 40,454 and Vistara at Rs 41,560.

Tickets for the UAE-based Emirates and Etihad are priced at Rs 52,364 and Rs 53,874 respectively. There are currently 50 flights to Dubai from various cities in India. Prior to the ban, the number of flights was over 300.
