NIGHT LOCKDOWN IN OMAN WILL END FROM TODAY

Muscat: The night lockdown that existed in Oman as part of the covid defense will end today. This will put an end to the existing restrictions on the operation of businesses and the movement of people at night.

The Supreme Court's decision comes in the wake of the declining number of covid patients in the country and the fact that the government of Oman is taking advantage of the measures taken to prevent the epidemic. At the same time, the vaccination campaign in the country is progressing very fast.

From September 1, vaccination will be mandatory for entry into government offices, private institutions, commercial complexes, restaurants and shopping malls across the country. Completion of covid vaccination is also mandatory for participation in cultural and sports events. Only those who have received the two-dose vaccine can enter Oman by land, air or sea. This condition applies to people over 18 years of age.
