EMIRATES TO RESUME FLIGHTS TO SAUDI ARABIA FROM SEPTEMBER 11

Dubai: Emirates is set to resume flights after Saudi Arabia lifted a travel ban from the UAE. Emirates has announced that it will launch Saudi services from September 11. There will be 24 services a week from the UAE to Saudi Arabia. 


Emirates operates daily flights from the UAE to the Saudi capital Riyadh and Jeddah. In addition to the daily services to Dammam, three weekly services to Madinah are planned. Flights to Riyadh will be doubled from September 16. Emirates plans to launch more services to other cities by the end of this month. 

Saudi Arabia lifted its travel ban on three countries, including the UAE, on September 8. Saudi nationals were also allowed to travel to these countries. Apart from the UAE, Argentina and South Africa are the other countries that have lifted the ban.
