LEGAL ACTION AGAINST VISITORS WHO DO NOT LEAVE THE COUNTRY BEFORE EXPIRATION DATE IN SAUDI

Riyadh: The Saudi Passport Directorate says legal action will be taken if those on visit visas in Saudi Arabia do not leave the country before the expiration date. Those on family visit visas had previously been renewed for up to a year. Many of them tried to renew for another three months, but were only renewed for two weeks, after which they were instructed to leave the country.

The visit visa was renewed for more than a year in case of travel disruption due to corona. There are those who have received this for up to two years. All of them have been on a visit visa for six months or a year.

Their visas were renewed several times within three months of their expiration. It only cost a fee of 100 riyals and insurance. This has been a blessing to many families.  This is now discontinued. From now on, a visitor's visa can only last as long as it takes.
