NUMBER OF COVID SUFFERERS DECREASES IN OMAN, HEALTH MINISTER THANKS PEOPLE

Muscat: The number of covid patients in Oman is declining. According to figures reported on Thursday, only 41 people in the country have been newly diagnosed with covid disease. Oman's Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hashimi, has said that the figures show that the situation is "comforting". Ahmed bin Muhammad al-Sayedi commented.


"It is comforting to note that there are currently only 20 patients in Oman for covid treatment in the intensive care units," he said. The Oman News Agency said in a statement that the minister thanked everyone for their support in the efforts to prevent the covid epidemic.
