HUGE PRICES FOR VEGETABLES IN CO-OPERATIVE STORES

Kuwait City: The Competition Protection Authority conducted a study on the transparency of auction information on fruits and vegetables in Kuwait. The study says that there is a difference between the price announced in official auctions and the price in co-operative stores and parallel markets. 


It is more than 500 percent more expensive. It also points to the dividends of intermediaries and distributors. The study also recommends that auctions in auction markets and farmers' union markets be converted to electronic platforms.
