Kuwait City: Kuwait has the seventh largest gold reserves in the world. Kuwait has 79 tonnes of gold reserves. Gold accounts for 9.3 per cent of foreign reserves. The list was released by the World Gold Council. Saudi Arabia tops the list with 321.1 tonnes of gold. Lebanon is next with 286.8 tonnes of gold. Algeria is the third largest country in the Arab world. Libya, Iraq and Egypt are next in line.
