SECURITY CAMPAIGN, 332 TRAFFIC VIOLATION DETECTED IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Under the direction of Traffic Sector Undersecretary Major General Jamal Al Sayeg, the technical inspection, planning, research, education and training departments and the Directorate General of Traffic conducted a safety campaign. The security check was carried out in collaboration with six government agencies.


The inspection found 332 traffic violations. The number of violations was found to be including the expiration of the driving license and the unsafe condition of the vehicle.

10 people were arrested for driving without a license. All of them are minors. 49 reports were issued for violations of workshops. The sticker was affixed on 1000 abandoned cars.

The Ministry of Power and Water has cut off power supply to 42 garages. Meanwhile, Residency Affairs arrested 11 people for violating residency laws.
