VACCINATION IS MANDATORY FOR ANYTHING FROM SUNDAY IN SAUDI

Jeddah: The vaccine has been mandatory in public places since Sunday morning. The vaccine is essential for anything, including public places, hotels, airports, train travel, public transportation, leisure centers, and commercial centers. For this, the Saudi Tawakkalna app has been updated.

The Ministry of Health on Saturday revealed that the changes made to the Tawakkalna app will take effect from Sunday. The new change will differentiate between the health status of individuals. App will distinguish between two doses of approved vaccine, "immunized", "single dose", "first dose" for those who have received only one vaccine, "no confirmed infection" for those who have not been vaccinated, and "non-immunized" for those who have not been vaccinated.

The Tawakkalna app is also being modified in the context of enforcing the rule that two-dose approved vaccine must be taken to gain access to different venues.

Those who have a sample positive within 10 days are considered "infected" and those who are exposed to a positive clinical test - with or without symptoms - are "mixed". The conditions of home quarantine and institutional quarantine will also be evident in the Tawakkalna app regarding the respective people.
