KUWAIT TO LAUNCH RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS IN PHARMACIES

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health is preparing to launch rapid tests in pharmacies and laboratories in the wake of an increase in Covid cases. The decision has been taken to implement this test method in pharmacies and laboratories and link it to the automated system of the Ministry of Health. Those who suspect that Covid is infected will be given the opportunity to be tested as soon as possible.


The Ministry will provide the required examination kits for this purpose. The Ministry of Health encourages home antigen testing, even if there are minor symptoms. The Ministry also recommends conducting tests before attending any function and before visiting the elderly.
