Kuwait City: The Council of Ministers has decided that the number of workers in government workplaces should not exceed 50 per cent in the wake of the new Covid outbreak in Kuwait, with each government agency set the appropriate percentage for it, with the Civil Service Bureau tasked with implementing the decision from Wednesday, until further notice.

The head of the government's communications center, Tariq al-Muzram, an official spokesman for the government, announced the new decisions in a statement. He noted that the Council of Ministers had decided to limit domestic meetings, conferences and courses through remote communication.

He added that the Council of Ministers had decided to emphasize the need for salons, barber shops and health clubs to complete immunization against the corona virus for workers and visitors. It is also suggested that 50% of passengers should not be on public transport

Al-Muzram added that the decisions include reducing the number of employees in the private sector, running the business with as few staff as possible, and ensuring that workers in nurseries and children's clubs complete the coronary vaccination and meet health requirements.
