DOCTORS AND AUTHORITIES WHO ARE 'NOT ON DUTY' WILL BE INVESTIGATED

Kuwait City: Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, Minister of Health, paid surprise visits to numerous primary health care centres lately, accompanied by Dr. Hashem Al-Hashemi, Director of the Inspection and Audit Office. According to sources, the minister referred officials, doctors, and personnel of the South Ardiya and Firdous institutions to be investigated after witnessing congestion.


According to sources, the minister was dissatisfied since the two centres were overcrowded, and doctors and personnel were absent during official working hours. According to sources, the minister issued a directive ordering an examination into the records of all individuals who were missing during his visit, and the officials in question were referred for investigation.
