Kuwait City: Under the aegis of the Public Authority for Youth's Voluntary Work Department, the 'Amir of Humanity' Volunteer Team recently organised the longest Iftar table at the Friday Market. The event is in its third year, according to Ali Karam, the team's founder and leader. "It began in 2018 at Souk Mubarakiya, with 6,000 people attending Iftar.

It was held in the Friday Market in 2019 with 9,000 participants," he noted. The event was organised again on Friday with 11,200 recipients after a two-year delay owing to the Corona pandemic. According to Karam, many volunteer teams were involved in the event's planning.
