KUWAIT ARRESTS 157 RESIDENCY VIOLATIONS DURING EID HOLIDAYS

Kuwait City: During the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the Directorate of Public Security received 2,130 reports of violations. The Home Ministry's General Administration of Relations and Security Media reported that 157 residency offenders were arrested, 283 were arrested for not having adequate residence documents, and 1,220 traffic violations were detected and prosecuted during the campaign, which began on April 30 and ended on May 6.


The government has confirmed that security and traffic campaigns are being carried out 24 hours a day in all governorates to protect road users, protect lives and public-private property, control negligence and violators, and address negative phenomena.
