ANNUAL RAINFALL IN KUWAIT IS EXPECTED TO DECREASE

Kuwait City: Annual rainfall in Kuwait is expected to decrease by five to 25 percent between 2031 and 2050, according to the State Audit Bureau. The report warns of an increasing risk of drought. High average temperatures, declining rainfall, rising dust storms and increasing desertification are pushing Kuwait to the brink of drought. The report also warns of the threat to food security.
