KUWAIT'S NEW MATERNITY HOSPITAL IS 65 PERCENT COMPLETE

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Public Works has announced that the construction of the new maternity hospital is 65 per cent complete as per the project agreement. The hospital is located in Al Sabah, in the Capitol Governorate. Progress is being made on the construction of a maternity hospital covering an area of ​​53,395 square meters. The actual building area, which includes the Central Service Station, is 347,656 square meters.


The new building will have 789 beds, 460 rooms for patients, 198 ICU units for premature babies, 27 operating theaters, 58 delivery rooms, 74 outpatient clinics, a parking lot for 1,219 cars and an outpatient hospital with a capacity of 532 cars.
