EARTHQUAKE, KUWAIT OIL COMPANY CLAIMS NO IMPACT ON OIL PRODUCTION

Kuwait City: The Kuwait Oil Company has confirmed that oil and gas production facilities were not affected by the earthquake this morning, and that oil and gas production is currently at normal. As a precautionary measure, all centers are equipped with automatic sensors in the event of an earthquake in accordance with safety regulations approved by the company. 


So in the event of an earthquake, the operation was halted for a while but everything has returned to normal following all the precautions. The Kuwait National Seismological Network of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research recorded a magnitude 5.0 earthquake in the southwestern part of Ahmadi this morning.
