POLICE ARRESTED FOREIGNERS TRYING TO ENTER OMAN ILLEGALLY

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police have arrested more than a dozen foreigners trying to enter Oman illegally. 23 infiltrators from different countries were arrested. They were arrested by Coast Guard police in northern Al Batina. The Royal Oman Police said it was completing legal proceedings against those arrested.


Meanwhile, three expatriates who arrived in Oman with drugs were arrested. The Royal Oman Police arrested the expatriates in possession of 10 kg of crystal drugs, 7 kg of morphine and 19 kg of hashish. The drugs seized were for sale. The Royal Oman Police said in a statement that legal action was being taken against those arrested.
