Riyadh: Expatriates will lose their jobs in more areas in Saudi Arabia. Indigenization is being implemented in six more occupations. Indigenization includes jobs in the aviation sector, jobs in the spectacle sector, vehicle periodic inspection (FAHs) jobs, jobs in postal outlets, parcel transport jobs, customer service jobs and jobs in the seven categories of sales outlets. It aims to create more than 33,000 jobs for the natives.

The jobs in the aviation industry include assistant pilots, air traffic controllers, air transporters, flight pilots and air hostesses. The decision applies to all private companies that employ five or more employees in the aviation industry.
