KUWAIT'S ROAD ARE PLY BY AN ESTIMATED 2.2 MILLION VEHICLES

Kuwait City: The number of vehicles registered in Kuwait after January 2006 was released by the Ministry of Interior. According to the Ministry of Interior, there were 2,228,747 vehicles of all types registered in the names of Kuwaitis and expatriates between January 1, 2006 and February 15, 2022.


The statistics were provided by the Ministry of Interior in response to a question from Abdul Aziz Al Saqabi. According to the ministry, there are 1,892,208 private car licences, 436 taxi licences, 2,768 public transportation vehicles, and 35,214 private passenger transport vehicles.
