INDIAN TEAM REACHED DUBAI FOR ASIA CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT

Dubai : The Indian team has arrived in Dubai for the Asia Cup cricket tournament. Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were the first to reach the UAE. Stars like KL Rahul, Axar Patel, Josh Khan and Deepak Hooda have also arrived in Dubai from Zimbabwe. Kohli along with his wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika came for the tournament with his family. 


Head coach Rahul Dravid, who is suffering from covid, has not come to UAE with the Indian team. Dravid was supposed to have left Bengaluru yesterday. VVS Laxman, who coached India in Zimbabwe, will continue with the team until it is clear whether Dravid will be available for the Asia Cup. Today, the Indian team will embark on its first training session. The team has three days of training in Dubai. The defending champions Team India are the favorites in the Asia Cup.
