SHIFT IN WORKING HOURS IS FREQUIRED TO ALLEVIATE THE TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Secretary of the Kuwait Society of Engineers, Engineer Fahad Al Otaibi, has called for stricter traffic control as most of the country's roads witness traffic jams as the academic year has begun. The concerned authorities of all ministries are expected to coordinate and amend the working hours of schools and government agencies. 


He pointed out that adjusting working hours would help in reducing traffic congestion. He added that all road users should follow the rules and regulations and ensure that the rules include wearing seat belts, not using phones and maintaining speed.
