KUWAIT WILL TEST THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF FOREIGN NATIONALS BEFORE ISSUING VISAS

Kuwait City: The Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Dr. Mubarak Al-Azmi, stated that the same will be done in collaboration with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) for related professions to ensure the applicant has good skills and knowledge about the job he is hired for before a visa is issued. This is part of plans to reform the demographic imbalance.


According to the sources, passing the tests will be a requirement for work permit renewal and issuance/renewal, and in the event of failure, the individual will be given a grace period to leave the country.
