SPREAD OF COVID DECREASED IN UAE

Abu Dhabi: The number of free PCR testing tents in Musafa has been reduced from 4 to 2 as the spread of Covid has reduced significantly. This is due to the decrease in the number of people coming for examination after the relaxation of restrictions.


In the past, an average of 60,000 people came for the free check-up every day. Now it has reduced to 15,000. The free PCR test was a relief to low-income earners. A negative PCR result was mandatory for admission to various institutions in Abu Dhabi.

Therefore, PCR test was done weekly and never fortnightly. In the free testing that started in 2019, lakhs of people have availed this facility so far.
