World's oldest person, a French nun dies aged 118

France: The oldest known living person in the world, a French nun named Lucile Randon, passed away at the age of 118,  spokesman David Tavella confirmed to AFP on Tuesday. She died at her nursing home in Toulon while sleeping. Randon, also known as sister André, was born On February 11, 1904, a decade before the beginning of the First World War, in the south of France.
