China to send astronauts on moon

In an effort to become the second country to land people on the moon, Chinese officials on Wednesday unveiled new details about their planned lunar mission. According to state-run news agency Xinhua, Zhang Hailian, CMSA's Deputy Chief Engineer, announced the preliminary plan during the aerospace summit held in Wuhan. It's part of a bigger project to build a moon research station, and it is expected to take place by 2030.
