Typhoon Doksuri continues to wreak havoc on the lives of millions of people in China as record-breaking rains continue to batter the country. The storm has moved inland, causing torrential floods in the northern parts of the country. On Saturday, news agency AFP reported that at least 10 people have lost their lives due to flooding in a city in the Hebei province.

The weather agency has reported the heaviest rainfall in Beijing for the past 140 years. On Saturday morning, authorities in Hebei Province reported the evacuation of approximately 1,54 million people, as China’s disaster relief systems continue to struggle to cope with the effects of the most powerful storm in years.
