41 migrants dead after boat capsizes off Italian Island of Lampedusa

A boat carrying forty-one migrants capsized  in the central Mediterranean last week, Ansa news agency said on Wednesday, citing survivors who had just arrived in Lampedusa, Italy. The agency said four survivors told rescuers that the boat had carried forty-five passengers, including three children. The boat had set sail on Thursday morning from the port of Sfax in Tunisia, a hotbed of the migration crisis.
