India's space agency has released its most recent lunar imagery as the third lunar mission embarks on its descent towards the unexplored southern pole. The images were captured by Vikram, Chandrayaan-3's lander, which launched on Thursday to begin the final phase of the mission. The black and white images depict close-up views of rocks and craters on the Moon.
