The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, has suspended the licenses of six Kuwaiti doctors, including a former minister. This decision was taken in response to numerous breaches of regulations by the medical professionals.

These doctors' licenses were suspended because they were involved in illegal selling Lyrica, which is a prescription drug. They were also operating medical clinics without the proper licenses. Additionally, the Minister has imposed financial sanctions on twenty prominent companies that had entered into agreements with the Ministry.
